Financial Market Updates
Thanks to our clients’ feedback, the Quarterly Market Update webinar held in January 2024 was a success. The positive engagement from our clients is invaluable, and we look forward to another insightful discussion with Kristopher Heck, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer, and Sam Lees, Senior Portfolio Manager which is scheduled for the beginning of May. Look out for the email invitation which will be sent out in April.
Insights from our Financial Advisors
Tanager offers insights both through our Tanager Talks webinars and our Insights blog. Both are designed to introduce Transatlantic households to some of the challenges of managing a cross-border financial life and inform how our expert Financial Advisors can help with your unique financial needs. Tanager Talks Webinars
The next Tanager Talk, ‘Things to Know Before Moving to the UK’, is on the 20th of March. You can sign up here or review our webinar schedule here.
Transatlantic Women’s Wealth
In late 2023 we successfully launched our Transatlantic Women’s Wealth program. Over the past few months, there has been a continuous increase in attendance at our in-person seminars and webinars. Our Transatlantic Women’s Wealth team is working towards empowering American women in the UK by fostering financial knowledge and community. Our recent session covered the intricacies of ‘Goal Setting and Financial Planning of Pensions’. The momentum continues with our upcoming event on the 19th of March, with Susan Blaylock, Tanager Financial Advisor, and guest speaker, Charlotte Davies, who is a US Tax Director at the Tax Advisory Partnership.

Celebrations
Congratulations to Nicole Ralph, Senior Financial Advisor, on her 4th anniversary, and Alistair Jackson, Financial Advisor, for reaching an impressive 5 years with Tanager. Their commitment and expertise continue to enrich our client experience.
We also congratulate Tanager Advisor Tori Bown and her husband on the birth of their first child, Scarlett June Bown, in February.
Tough Mudder
In November, some of the Tanager Team took on and completed the a Tough Mudder event arranged by Vanguard. Well done to everyone involved!
Tanager In The Community
This year we have made donations to the charity Shelter in the UK and Project HOME, a homeless shelter in Philadelphia, USA, in lieu of sending our clients a Christmas gift at the end of 2023. We hope our contributions can make a difference to those who find themselves in need this year.
The Soup Kitchen
While continuing to support The Soup Kitchen charity through monthly volunteering efforts, in December the Tanager team delivered a bundle of items to the Soup Kitchen following a donation drive at our London office. We collected coats, jumpers, and toiletries (including toothpaste, toothbrushes, and deodorant) to help those in need. Delivering the items on a cold, wet December day brought home how difficult life is for those less fortunate than us. Tanager was proud to be one of the top three financial supporters of The Soup Kitchen in 2023.
Managing Partner, Alex Eichhorn, was invited to join a special Christmas serving at the Soup Kitchen on Saturday 15th December. Volunteers completed two servings of Christmas lunch, with all the trimmings, to over 200 guests. A string quartet accompanied the lunch and carols were sung by Cub Scouts.
