About the Role
You will be providing support to our financial advisers in delivering high-quality financial planning solutions to our clients. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively to provide unique solutions on a variety of complex cases and impact our clients’ lives positively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend client meetings with the adviser.
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to meet client objectives.
- Prepare Suitability Reports and Letters.
- Develop and maintain internal relationships to support business flow and targets.
- Present technical data to clients alongside the adviser.
- Perform complex cashflow modelling for multi-jurisdictional planning.
- Write fully compliant, tailored client suitability reports and financial plans within deadlines.
- Prepare for annual review meetings and write review summary letters.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records and digital files.
- Stay informed on FCA, SEC, and regulatory updates.
- Maintain strong relationships within and across teams.
- Act as a contact point between clients, advisors, and the support team.
- Handle client queries effectively.
- Assist other planner team members when needed.
- Proactively develop product and industry knowledge.
- Ensure all reports meet or exceed expected standards.
- Follow process-driven workflows.

Essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a paraplanning / technical role
- Level 4 diploma or close to it
- Understand the regulatory framework, ethics and principles of the advice process
- Comfortable undertaking research and analysis
- Commitment to further personal development through training and professional exams
- Outstanding written and oral communication with an excellent telephone manner
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently
- Ability to interact with wealthy individuals in a confident, professional manner
- Ability to work closely with third parties and commercial partners to achieve required client outcomes
- Comfortable working in a team
- Time management and prioritisation skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Attention to detail
- ‘Can-do’ attitude
- Unrestricted rights to work in the UK
Desirable
A degree, or degree-level qualification, would be preferred but is not necessary
Experience in cash flow modelling would be preferred but is not necessary
Broader experience in a financial planning business i.e. client services/investment management/trading
