Yes. Tanager Wealth Management is authorised and regulated in both the US and the UK to provide investment management services. We do not hold client money or assets, preferring to outsource custody to large, stable custodians in both countries.
We charge an ongoing fee based on the amount of assets that we are advising on and managing. Our investment management fees are subject to VAT for UK residents. We do not take commissions from third parties.
We charge a minimum fee of $6,500 per annum. Families with less than $500,000 may wish to work directly with a specialist tax advisor to ensure they are reporting their taxes correctly before considering making investments.
No, Tanager is not authorised or regulated to provide tax advice in the UK or the US. We strongly recommend that our clients work with US and UK qualified tax advisors with experience of both jurisdictions. We are well connected to the leading practitioners in both the UK and the US and are pleased to make introductions as appropriate.
Yes, Tanager can advise on US and UK pensions. UK pensions are highly regulated and care should be taken when reviewing pension transfers. Tanager has an experienced Financial Planning Team that undertakes detailed research on existing UK client pensions and our Client Service Team is adept at implementing and managing pension account consolidation.
Yes, Tanager is registered with the SEC as a Registered Investment Advisor and is able to work with households resident in the United States, including households with legacy UK pensions.
