Alexander joined Tanager in 2019 with 4 years’ experience in UK financial planning. Having graduated with a fine art degree from Wimbledon College of Art in 2012, he then made an unconventional move into finance. Alexander initially picked up experience in banking, whilst independently studying for his CII Level 4 Diploma which helped him secure his first role as a paraplanner in 2015. Since then he has built on his knowledge of UK financial planning and tax legislation. He now applies his knowledge in supporting the advisory team with the technical aspects of the planning process.
Outside of work Alexander is a keen reader of non-fiction, particularly ancient history and enjoys hiking especially in the more remote parts of the UK. Whilst having hung up his own boots 7 years ago he has since rediscovered they of playing rugby.
